                                Turning Point of Nelson Mandela



Nelson Mandela  Was born on 19 July, in 1918

In   1930 -His father died.

In 1939-Enrolled at Healdtown, College at Fort Beaufort

In 1940-Expelled from the university of Fort Hare

In 1941-ran away to Johannesburg

In 1942- Completes his B.A through Unisa

In 1943- enrolled for LLB at Wits university

In 1944- Co-founder the youth league

In 1948- He was Elected National secretary of the ANC youth league

In -1952- banned campaign and sent to jail for 9 months

 In 1960-  the Sharpeville massacre of 63 black South African’s changed the whole political climate.





   In 1962 Mandela had been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in the notorious Robben Island prison. 
Life at the prison was tough and uncompromising. However in his autobiography  he revel.  
  In 1990 -They eventually led to Mandela’s release in 1990. It was an emotional moment watched by millions around the globe.

                Achievements

  In 1943- Qualified as a Lawyer.

 In 1944-  Mandela helped found the ANC Youth League, whose Program of Action was adopted by the ANC in 1949.

   In 1993 Nelson Mandela was awarded the Nobel peace Prize 
jointly with  F.W. De Klerk
On 10 May 1994-  Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as the first democratically elected State President of South Africa on and was President until June 1999 .

Ans:  Yes, they do. Many people agree to terms and conditions without reading them. 

  • What happens when you click Facebook button?
Ans:  when we click Facebook button ,it means agreeing to a whole bunch of things. One of them is giving permission to collect and use our personal information.

  • Why are kids under 13 banned from most social media sites?
Ans :Because they want to protect the kids from cyber builying.  

  • What is the reason for that restriction?
  • Ans : The reason for this restriction that kids  are  stay safe form the social media. Might be someone is  tracking the kids and harm to them on social media.
  • How some kids under 13 still use the sites?
Ans: Because they giving a false age.
  • What is the best way to protect children?
Ans: The best way to protect children is to teach them to from an early age  how to stay safe and private online.
